What better way to kick off the all-American holiday than with a trip on Friday to the all-American village of Southport. For the opening of a new exhibit by a Russian artist, Sonia Grineva.
A reception for the artist, who specializes in oil and watercolor landscapes, and is known locally for her Manhattan cityscapes, will take place at Southport Galleries from 5-8 Friday, July 2. Her studio is at the Pen and Brush Club in New York City.
I am an editor and designer who has also worked as a cartoonist, illustrator, writer and educator. I mix observations on the overlapping topics of design, culture and society, particularly in Connecticut. Or I just prattle on about life in general.
